Have I mentioned that I have really awesome coworkers? I’m lucky enough to have a group of folks that are more than work-friends, but friend-friends. One of them is Chris.
After Vlad, Chris is the first guy I’ve made an embroidery project for, so he gets some props for that. He’s a rad feminist ally, my shop steward buddy (union strong!), and an all-around upstanding guy. He also has good taste in whiskey.
I made this pattern for Chris’s 40th bday and it was a fun departure from some of the more flowery things I’ve been making. It was also my first time doing the chain stitch as an outline/fill stitch, so that was good to learn. Alifera has some other badass patterns that I think I’ll take a run at down the road.
